I have an Asus laptop running Windows 8.1 and it has stopped booting Windows. It is locked in an automated recovery mode and it won't even load that anymore. The one last time I got it to do anything, it looked like the data is on the drive still, but it can't seem to find Windows.

All of the 'fixes' I've seen online require the computer to at least boot up to Windows in some way. I can't get it to do anything. I tried even getting it just to DOS or something but that didn't work. What can I do to at least try to get this thing to a point where I can get the data off it? Any suggestions??
